Emmanuel Joshua and his wife, Korede, from the ground up, established Josoemag Services Ltd in 2009.
The name of the business derived from a combination of their first names and surname.
As a young couple, they were tired of the 9-5 grind and decided to seek something different. They wanted to go on a mission to improve people’s lives and contribute positively to their community.
With a vast experience in the security and construction industry, Emmanuel decided to start a recruitment agency.
He printed a business card, which he started distributing to his contacts in the industry and former colleagues. This is to formally, inform them that he can provide them with security and construction personnel whenever they require.
Upon further research, Emmanuel discovered that there was a major gap in the industry at the time.
Finding the right candidate for the right roles. With his industry experience and expertise, he believed he was the right person to provide the solutions.
The company was initially set up to operate on a self-employed basis. After 2 years, it was registered as a limited company.
The first contract the company secured was in 2009. A former colleague who was given one of the business cards recommended Josoemag. He spoke well of the skills of Emmanuel in sourcing the right candidates for the right positions to his management.
